Chicken cola of: cola, peppercorns, fennel, chicken breast, carrots.
- 6 black peppercorns
- 1 tsp fennel seeds, lightly crushed
- 500 ml Coca-Cola
- 4 chicken breasts, skinless
- 2 carrots, peeled and cut into thin batons
How to prepare:
Put the Coca-Cola in a large saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the chicken breasts and carrots and poach gently for 20 minutes or until the chicken is just cooked.
Remove from the poaching liquor with a slotted spoon and serve.
